I am a Diversity specialist with over 15 years experience of delivering high quality training for departments across the civil service. I have facilitated training events for Senior Managers, Middle Management and Frontline staff of all grades. For the last 5 years I have provided leadership and management to Ministry of Justice’s Women’s Issues Network. In this role I was awarded The Women of Excellence Award for the Humanitarian of the Year for my work with women who suffer from domestic violence. More recently I have established and developed 3 sets of facilitators within a Government department, providing support and advice. I am a qualified Action Learning Set trainer and facilitator and I am able to work on both long-term and short-term cycles. My work can include;
• How to start Action Learning within your organisation.
• Setting up women groups
• Delivering on diversity (breaking through PC-red tape and delivering results for all staff)
• Confidence building for staff
• Taster Days
I have no preferences with the type of set I deliver.
Any charges to be discussed on a case by case basis.
Comments from ALS individuals;
“Maureen has made me feel incredibly comfortable and at ease right from the very beginning. She instantly instilled a sense of trust and honesty, and that helped me open up and really feel like I was a part of an important group. I also am very impressed with the way she has coordinated the meetings and ensured they are well organised and structured.” Parole Board participant
“Maureen has been a friendly and approachable lady who has taken the time to assess the needs and dynamics of the group." MoJ participant
“Maureen is very upbeat and positive, and her energy seems to influence the group which is great.” Participant
