Marc is half French. He draws on a broad business experience over 15 years in international distributor management, project management, product management & setting up businesses which has been accumulated across agriculture, biotechnology, quarry machinery distribution, independent training and higher education.
Previously an Assistant Director at the University of Bath, Marc was responsible for Business Skills within the Division for Lifelong Learning. He created and managed a thriving Business Hub through which he lead the delivery of 5 successful European-funded projects all geared to supporting small businesses. The Business Hub was awarded PROWESS flagship status in recognition of the special nature of its business training and support for women.
Marc’s approach to action learning set facilitation is informed by a number of years of advanced training in Organisational Transactional Analysis. His work in leadership and management training is particularly influenced by the functional fluency model with its accompanying TIFF psychometric questionnaire. He trained as an Action Learning Set Facilitator in 2006. He has developed and delivered University of Bath accredited coach training and co-created ‘Exploring Supervision’ - a unique group committed to continuing professional development in coaching supervision practice. He is a member of the European Coaching and Mentoring Council (EMCC) and the Institute of Transactional Analysis (ITA) and abides by its codes of behaviour.
He is a co-owner of an internet retail business (www.onestopponyshop.co.uk) with his wife Alison and they live with their 2 daughters in Somerset.
