Action Learning Set Facilitation Training Accreditation – Creating Excellence
The business of communication, group dynamics and peer learning fascinates me and I have been in the privileged position of being able to exercise this interest professionally for the past 15 years. I have worked in the public, private and third sectors - providing training and support - primarily in the areas of organisational health, performance improvement and leadership development.
In the 90s I developed relapse prevention day services / group-work programmes for the NHS and The Probation Service. I also worked in an advisory capacity for the Education Welfare Service – specifically around drugs policy development.
Since 2000, I have been more involved with organisational health and I have been delivering activities such as action planning, business planning, preparing for change, conflict resolution, self assessment and team building and leadership through Action Learning. In the past 3 years I have worked with 36 organisations and their leaders, including regional, national third sector infrastructure bodies.
Organisations are never static creatures – as they grow, develop and change – personnel will inevitably experience some element of shift and potentially be confronted with unexpected challenges. Action Learning is a dynamic, powerful and energising approach to problem solving, personal and professional development - which has tangible results. It is a cost effective investment and benefits both the individual participants and their representative organisations.
Feel free to call me for an informal conversation.
